    1. Working principle

    Magnetic particle detection uses the interaction between magnetic leakage field and magnetic powder at the defect of the workpiece. It takes advantage of the difference between the surface and near surface defects of iron and steel products (such as cracks, slag inclusion, hair lines, etc.) permeability and iron and steel permeability. After magnetization, the magnetic field at the discontinuous place of these materials will be distorted, forming part of the magnetic flux leakage and resulting in magnetic leakage field. Thus attracting magnetic powder to form the accumulation of magnetic powder at the defect - magnetic trace, under appropriate lighting conditions, showing the location and shape of the defect.


    2. Usage

    Fluorescent magnetic particle flaw detection machine is used to detect the surface and near surface of ferromagnetic workpiece (such as: gear, gear ring, gear shaft, etc.) due to forging, quenching, grinding, fatigue caused by cracks and slag inclusion and other fine defects.

    7. Device description

    7.1 Electrical control system

    The control system is based on programmable logic controller (PLC), which controls the operation of two electrodes and the magnetization demagnetization device. With the control cabinet as the main body, it contains various executive components, magnetization triggering circuit, main transformer, etc.


    Input magnetizing current and other parameters through the touch screen. With PLC analog input/output module to achieve magnetization current preset function.


    All indicators, buttons and working lights of the flaw detection host adopt 24V safety voltage.

    The flaw detection host, demagnetizer and distribution cabinet shell are reliably grounded.

    7.2 Host

    Main machine: fuselage, stainless steel collection tank, magnetizer, spraying system.

    Fuselage: Fuselage is welded by high quality material, strong and beautiful. There is no obvious sharp Angle structure within the height range of the operator around the fuselage.

    Stainless Steel Collection tank: Made of high quality stainless steel for magnetic suspension collection.

    Magnetizer: composed of clamping mechanism, magnetizing electrode and magnetizing coil. The magnetizing electrode magnetizes the workpiece circumferentially and the magnetizing coil magnetizes it longitudewise. The coil and electrode plate are made of high quality copper. The clamping mechanism is driven by pneumatic components, and the workpiece is clamped between two electrodes to form a circumferential magnetizing circuit.

    7.3 Magnetic suspension spraying system

    It is composed of magnetic suspension collecting tank, water pump, pipeline and sprinkler head. The collecting tank is responsible for collecting, stirring and pumping the reflow magnetic suspension to the nozzle. The liquid collecting tank is external, and the universal wheel with brake device is installed at the bottom. The magnetic suspension collection tank, observation platform and demagnetizing conveyor belt of the main engine are all recovered to the liquid collection tank to avoid dripping.
